That was pretty much how I felt about it! Everything got so much better about the show when Cas showed up and they got into the real plot with the angels and shit. And Cas will continue to give you ALL THE FEELINGS through s6.

Warm-up doodle of Cas

*LMAO LONG BABBLING POST ALERT*
I watched the first season of Supernatural months ago, and I disliked it. The dialogues were boring, the characters were uninteresting, and Sam & Dean relationship was painful to watch. I thought maybe demons+family drama was just not my cup of tea, so I stopped. But Supernatural kept popping up on my dash (gifs, quotes, etc) so I began to pick up the story without actually watching the show. I admit I’m curious about this dude/angel in trenchcoat story. lmao. So i decided to give it another try (plus there’s no more DW until xmas).
Season 2… ‘god. this show is mega slow.’
Season 3… ‘ohai we go in circles. bro resurrect bro resurrect bro resurrect bro res…’
Season 4… EVERYTHING IS CAS AND NOTHING HURTS. seriously. this character (the whole heaven related business) makes the show a whole lot better. I think it’s because I love god-related stories. I’m not a religious person, but any stories about the ‘higher power’ are always interesting, and Cas being this faithful yet confused lost puppy helps too. SO MANY FEELINGS FOR CAS. Combined with Sam & Dean (ESPECIALLY DEAN), they’re just so amusing to watch (season 5). The story gets better too. I thought it’d be okay if they had stopped at season 5 since they’ve wrapped up the story nicely. I haven’t watch season 6 onwards, but hey, so far i’m hooked.
LMAO. Thanks for anyone who actually read this. Pardon any grammatical errors :O
